In addition to the impressive array of basalt columns, the Causeway Coast offers 12 miles of walking, along cliff faces with some of the world's rarest flora and fauna residing close by, and finishing near the famous Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge.
A private railway exists between the Giant's Causeway and the Bushmills Distillery (the world's oldest legal whisky distillery) and provides a link to warm your cockles after being buffeted by the Atlantic breeze down on the shoreline.
Admission to the Giant's Causeway coastal path and site is free, but donations are accepted and will help maintain this distinct landscape and natural beauty.
More information, including how to get there and visitor facilities can be found by visiting the National Trust site.
